First cruise ship docks in Faroese municipality of Sunda

The Faroese municipality of Sunda received its first-ever cruise vessel on Monday when the M/S Expedition docked in Hvalvík, public broadcaster KVF reports.

The ship, carrying around 100 passengers and a crew of 90, remained in port for approximately one hour. Mayor Eyðstein Zachariasen told KVF he expects more cruise traffic in the future.
