A house explosion in Eidsvoll on Saturday evening left four people with burn injuries, one seriously, after a fireplace fuel refill went wrong, *Dagbladet* reports.

Emergency services were dispatched to the residence following reports of the blast, according to Øst Police District’s operational log. “The incident appears to have occurred during the refueling of a fireplace,” operations manager Henrik Larsen stated.

Police confirmed they were in direct contact with those at the scene, guiding first aid efforts until responders arrived. By 8:57 p.m., authorities updated the casualty count to four injured, with one in critical condition. Larsen described the event as accidental, with police and fire crews already on-site.

Marcus Aakre Julshamn, deputy head of the Øst 110 emergency call center, told *Dagbladet* that firefighters were assisting at the location, supported by additional ambulance, medical, and police units. A medical helicopter was also en route.
