Queen Margrethe discharged from hospital
Queen Margrethe of Denmark has been discharged from Rigshospitalet and is returning to Fredensborg Palace, the royal household announced Friday.
The monarch, admitted Monday for a blood collection in her hip region caused by a previous fall, will continue to rest, according to a palace statement. “Her Majesty is doing well but, as with her discharge on May 19, must continue to take things easy,” it read.
Her participation in scheduled engagements will be assessed on an ongoing basis.
