The Faroese parliamentary committee on government affairs held a meeting late Tuesday to examine a formal complaint against Bárður á Steig Nielsen, the minister responsible for fisheries, public broadcaster KVF reports.

The complaint stems from allegations that parliament did not receive all relevant documents related to proposed amendments to the territorial waters fishing law. The identity of the complainant has not been disclosed.

Erhard Joensen, chair of the committee, confirmed the session took place but declined to provide further details, stating only that one case was under review. No timeline for a decision was given.
