Finnish Air Force conducts drone defence exercises in southeast Finland
The Finnish Air Force has begun two days of drone defence drills in southeast Finland as part of enhanced air defence readiness, state broadcaster Yle reported Wednesday.
Fighter jets, helicopters, and a naval standby vessel are taking part in the exercise, which runs from 09:00 to 16:00 local time in Kymenlaakso, South Karelia, and the eastern Gulf of Finland. Finnish Air Force Hornet jets, Army NH90 and MD500 helicopters, and a Navy readiness ship are involved, but no live ammunition will be used.
