Copenhagen’s S-train commuter network will operate with “severely reduced service” across most lines all day Tuesday, state railway operator DSB announced on its website.

The disruption follows a fault in the overhead power supply system near Copenhagen Central Station, which remained unresolved as of Monday evening. DSB stated it would provide updates on Tuesday’s service as they become available, urging passengers to monitor its website for the latest information.

Banedanmark, the infrastructure manager, confirmed on X that repair work on the affected section between Copenhagen Central Station and Vesterport was underway but described the task as “complex.” No timeline for restoration has been given.

The same fault caused delays and cancellations on Monday, impacting lines A, B, and C. Line A and B trains faced delays in both directions, while line C experienced interruptions between Frederikssund and Valby, and again between Hellerup and Klampenborg.
