Second brother in Finnish tunnel warfare video case faces trial
A Helsinki district court will begin hearings on Monday against the second of two brothers accused of revealing state secrets by publishing detailed maps of Finland’s tunnel networks and discussing military sites in online videos, Yle reports.
Prosecutors allege the brothers, known for promoting conspiracy theories online, shared highly specific information about Finland’s tunnel infrastructure and referenced tunnels near military installations in YouTube videos. Both have denied the charges.
The first brother’s case was heard earlier this year. The trial continues as part of the broader investigation into the so-called “tunnel war” case.
