Last night, the police in Tórshavn had an unusually busy evening. Throughout the night, officers responded to various incidents, including extinguishing fires before they could grow larger, according to the on-duty personnel.

Typically, such activity is not common during the Ólavsøka festival, reports the police. However, they confirmed that no significant incidents occurred.

Around ten o’clock, authorities received reports of verbal threats in the area known as Glitni. The individuals involved were intoxicated, making it difficult for officials to ascertain the details of the situation clearly.

The police stated that the matter is under investigation.
