Odense light rail service suspended near university hospital due to permit issue

The Odense light rail system has halted service past the new Odense University Hospital after its permit to travel beneath pedestrian bridges at the construction site was revoked, Danish broadcaster DR reported Saturday.

Replacement buses now operate between Rosengårdcentret and Hjallese Station at roughly 20-minute intervals, with the disruption expected to last several days. Some residents interviewed in the city expressed frustration but remained understanding of the situation.
