Three teenagers arrested for violent behavior in Kópavogur

Three teenagers in Kópavogur engaged in violent behavior, smashing windows in a residential building and a bus shelter. The police apprehended the boys, who were found carrying a baseball bat, a hammer, and a knife.

During the arrest, one of the boys attacked a police officer with a blunt object before being subdued. Two of the teenagers were under 18, with one being under 15 years old. The 18-year-old who assaulted the officer has been placed in a detention cell. The other two minors were taken to different facilities in coordination with their parents and child welfare services.

One of the boys reportedly made repeated threats to kill police officers. The teenagers are facing multiple charges related to the incident, according to police records.
