One-year-old critically injured after falling from window in Oslo

A one-year-old child is in critical condition after falling five to six meters from a second-floor window on Tøyen in Oslo on Wednesday evening, Oslo police reported.

The child was taken care of by medical personnel at the scene, said operations leader Christer Martinsen. Police dispatched a large number of resources to the area.

The initial hypothesis is that the fall was an accident linked to play, Martinsen wrote in the police log. The parents were present at the location. The incident was reported to police at 18:16.
