Information posters about Ebola to be put up at Swedish airports
The Swedish Public Health Agency has decided that information about Ebola will be put up at airports in Sweden, following the outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Swedish news program Ekot reports.
The World Health Organization declared an international public health emergency on 17 May. Social Minister Jakob Forssmed (Christian Democrats) said it is not possible to entirely rule out imported cases reaching Sweden.
“At the slightest symptom if one travels in from these countries, one should contact health care,” Forssmed told Ekot.
