The Faroese parliament to hold a Whit Sunday session
The Faroese parliament, the Løgting, will hold a session on Saturday, Whit Sunday eve, according to a report by Kringvarp Føroya.
Speaker Johan Dahl said the session has been called to clear pending items that remain in parliamentary committees before the Løgting breaks for its summer recess next week.
Dahl noted that since only proposals are on the agenda for the Whit Sunday session, members of parliament are not required to be physically present in the chamber.
