Tórshavn municipality puts nearly 6,000 square metres up for tender in Kollafjarðar

Tórshavn Municipality is offering just under 6,000 square metres of land for residential development in Kollafjørður, according to Faroese public broadcaster KVF.

The plot, measuring precisely 5,772 square metres, is located centrally within the village and is designated for apartment or terraced house construction, with green space and surrounding outdoor areas included in the plans.

At least 30 percent of the area must be allocated as recreational and amenity space.

The deadline for submitting bids is noon on 17 July. The municipality says a political decision on the tender will be made in September or October. A residency requirement will be imposed on the development.
