Boat crashes into shore in Vestmanna, multiple injured

A boat crashed into the shore at Brimli in Vestmanna on Sunday evening, sending several people to the national hospital, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Police confirmed they are investigating the incident but declined to provide further details. According to the newspaper Vørn, the crash resulted in one person being airlifted to Landssjúkrahúsið (the Faroese national hospital) by rescue helicopter. Others on board were brought ashore and later transported by ambulance to the same hospital with minor injuries.
