Heatwave eases in Finland as temperatures reach 26 degrees Celsius

Today, the intense heat in Finland will ease slightly as hot air masses move to the east of the country, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute. In sunny areas, temperatures could reach around 26 degrees Celsius, while regions with rain will remain just above 20 degrees. In Western Lapland, temperatures may dip below 20 degrees in some locations. Thunderstorms will continue today, but they are expected to be milder than those experienced yesterday.
