Faroese school revives student cabaret after protests
The annual student cabaret at Glasir secondary school in the Faroe Islands will go ahead after administrators reversed their decision to cancel it, following protests from students, Kringvarp Føroya reports.
School management had announced last week that the event, organised by students, would not take place. The move prompted demonstrations, leading officials to reinstate the cabaret before the end of the school year.
A radio news segment on the protests is available here.
