Foxtrot network’s second-in-command arrested in Tunisia
Mohamed “Moewgli” Mohdhi, the alleged second-in-command of the Foxtrot criminal network, has been arrested in Tunisia, Swedish public broadcaster SVT reports.
The 28-year-old, a former rapper, is considered one of the most violent members of the network and is believed to report directly to Foxtrot leader Rawa Majid. Swedish police suspect Mohdhi played a key role in a 15-year-old girl’s killing spree in March, according to investigative sources.
Mohdhi was previously listed as a “high value target” on Europol’s most-wanted list, marking him as a top priority for law enforcement. Swedish authorities confirmed to SVT that Tunisian officials had detained him after a prolonged stay in the country.
In Sweden, Mohdhi is wanted in absentia for over ten serious violent and drug-related offences, including alleged involvement in the January 2023 murder of a 15-year-old boy at a sushi restaurant in Skogås. Prosecutor Ida Arnell has described him as “high-ranking in Foxtrot” and suspected of driving multiple severe violent crimes.
Mohdhi began his criminal career in the Bronätverket gang, allied with Foxtrot, after a brief music career collaborating with late rapper Einár. His songs reportedly helped build Foxtrot’s public image.
Five other men linked to Foxtrot remain in Tunisian custody, including Mohdhi’s brother.
