USU: Over Half of Finns Rate Orpo’s Government as Unsuccessful
Based on a recent survey, clearly more than half of Finns believe that the government led by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has performed quite poorly or very poorly in its duties. 32 percent of respondents rated the government’s performance as very poor, while 26 percent viewed it as somewhat poor.
Meanwhile, a third of citizens think the government has performed well in its first year of operation. 7 percent rated the government’s success as very good, and 26 percent as fairly good. However, 9 percent of the respondents stated that they could not form an opinion on the matter.
Opinions on the government’s success vary significantly among different demographic groups. For example, about two-fifths of men believe the government has performed well, while less than a quarter of women agree with this assessment.
The survey was conducted between June 11 and 18 and was answered by a thousand Finns. The margin of error is 3.1 percentage points in either direction.
