Brann football club supporters left large amounts of litter, broken glass, and public urination in Oslo streets before Saturday’s cup final, according to local resident Kornelia Minsaas, who documented the scenes in an interview with Nettavisen.

Minsaas described encountering intoxicated fans, discarded alcohol bottles, and trash strewn along routes from Ullevaal Stadium toward Sagene after participating in the Holmenkollen Relay race. “This is not acceptable,” she told Dagbladet. “Would you want this in your hometown? If this is supporter culture, we have a problem.”

The leader of Brann’s official supporter club, Bataljonen, acknowledged the issue but stated that efforts had been made to address it. “We clearly encouraged people to clean up and dispose of waste,” said Erlend Ytre-Arne Vågane. “With two thousand people gathering, some litter is inevitable.”

Vågane added that a cleanup crew, organised in collaboration with local sports club Sagene IF, had inspected the area post-match, reporting that conditions had since improved.
