Technical issues again disrupt Swedish driving licence tests
Technical problems have once more disrupted services at Sweden’s Transport Agency, preventing customers from completing vehicle ownership transfers or taking first-time driving theory tests, SVT Nyheter reports.
The issues were detected early Saturday morning and have affected several digital services, according to agency spokesperson Carolina Häggkvist.
“Right now, it’s not possible to register or deregister vehicles, transfer ownership, or take a first-time driving theory test,” Häggkvist said. “This is highly regrettable.”
No timeline has been given for when the problems will be resolved. The agency’s crisis management team has been activated, and investigators are working to identify the cause.
“There is currently no indication that this is due to external interference,” Häggkvist added.
Similar technical disruptions occurred earlier this year, in February and May.
