Thunderstorms Forecasted for Almost the Entire Country

The Meteorological Institute warns of severe thunderstorms today across the entire country. A thunderstorm front rising from the southwest is moving eastward and is expected to reach the region of North Karelia last. According to the Meteorological Institute, thunderstorms may occur sporadically anywhere in the country, with the exception of Northern Lapland and the coastal areas. The whole country can expect temperatures around twenty degrees Celsius. However, the temperature may drop closer to fifteen degrees Celsius during a thunderstorm.
