Health School in Suðuroy to offer paid positions for students during training
The Health School in Suðuroy will soon offer paid positions for students during their training, as announced by Djóni Nolsøe Joensen, the Minister for Children and Education.
In a coalition agreement, the three political parties involved—Javnaðarflokkurin (Social Democrats), Tjóðveldi (Republicans), and Framsókn (Progressive Party)—committed to ensuring that healthcare students receive compensation while they are in education.
Joensen aims to implement this agreement promptly. However, details regarding the amount of pay for students while studying remain unclear, as do the sources of funding for these wages.
