Denmark to conduct national emergency alert test at noon
Denmark’s National Police and Emergency Management Agency will carry out a nationwide test of emergency alert systems on Wednesday at 12:00 local time, DR reports.
The test includes the activation of physical warning sirens, a routine procedure held on the first Wednesday of May each year. Additionally, the S!RENEN mobile alert system will send a test notification to all newer mobile phones, triggering a distinct sound and displaying a test warning on screens.
Further details are available on the official S!RENEN website and the Emergency Management Agency’s homepage.
