Denmark Tests National Emergency Preparedness With Public Awareness Campaign
Denmark is holding a national preparedness week, with public broadcaster DR launching an interactive campaign to assess and improve household emergency readiness, DR reports.
The initiative, called “Beredskabskontoret” (The Preparedness Office), includes a live broadcast on DRTV from 11:45 to 12:45 and again from 16:15 to 22:00 local time. Experts will be available in the studio to answer public questions about personal and home emergency planning.
Viewers can submit questions via the campaign’s blog, by SMS to 1212 (with “DRTV” before the message), or by email to [email protected].
The campaign coincides with a national emergency alert test scheduled for 12:00 local time today.
