President Bryndís Haraldsdóttir visits Faroe Islands for Ólavsøka festivities
Bryndís Haraldsdóttir, the President of the Nordic Council, is visiting the Faroe Islands during the Ólavsøka festivities.
During her visit, she will participate in the opening ceremony of the Ólavsøka and attend the church service on the Ólavsøka day.
Additionally, she plans to meet with NORA and the Nordic Association in the Faroe Islands, as well as the director of the Nordic House. Bryndís Haraldsdóttir will also be present in the Løgting when the new parliamentary session begins, where she will meet with Faroese politicians.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Nordic Council’s president has visited the Faroe Islands. Last year, Norway held the presidency of the Council, with Jorodd Asphjell serving as president at that time.
