Senior Foxtrot gang leader charged with multiple violent crimes

A 30-year-old alleged leader in the Foxtrot criminal network has been formally charged with orchestrating multiple violent crimes during Sweden’s 2023 wave of gang-related violence, according to a report by Dagens Nyheter (DN).

The man, described as part of the inner circle of Foxtrot leader Rawa Majid, was extradited to Sweden from Iraq last autumn. Prosecutors have now charged him with three counts of incitement to attempted murder, two counts of preparation to commit murder, conspiracy to commit murder, incitement to aggravated endangerment, and serious weapons offences.

Many of the alleged crimes are said to have taken place in 2023, a year marked by escalating gang violence in Sweden.
