Bakkafrost approves 205 million krona dividend payout

The Faroese salmon farming company Bakkafrost has approved a dividend payout of 205 million krona, according to a report by Faroese broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya. Shareholders will receive 3.45 krona per share.

The decision was made at the company’s annual general meeting, where board members Teitur Samuelsen, Annika Frederiksberg, Einar Wathne, and Guðrið Højgaard were re-elected. Norwegian board member Henrik Heiberg stepped down, while Rúni M. Hansen, who has chaired the board for the past 16 years, continues in his role.
