Fire destroys apartment in Vantaa, three taken to hospital

A fire has completely destroyed an apartment in a residential building in Vantaa’s Myyrmäki district, with three people hospitalised, reports Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

The Central Uusimaa Rescue Department confirmed the blaze broke out in a flat on Suvantopolku street on Sunday evening. Emergency services received the alarm at 19:41 local time, deploying 12 rescue units to the scene.
