Major industrial fire in Vantaa sends thick smoke across the area

A large fire has broken out at an industrial building in Vantaa’s Tuupakka district, with thick smoke spreading toward Veromies and Pakkala, Finnish public broadcaster Yle reports.

The blaze is consuming a 4,000-square-metre production facility on Tahkotie, identified as a building owned by Verhoomo Sorsa. Emergency services are actively working to extinguish the fire.
