Major Fire in Hjärup Forces Evacuation of Five Apartments

A large fire that broke out in an apartment building in Hjärup on Monday evening has spread to the attic, forcing the evacuation of residents from five apartments, Swedish public broadcaster SVT Nyheter reports.

Evacuated residents have been relocated to a nearby school gymnasium while emergency services work to contain the blaze. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
