Faroese government holds first cabinet meeting
The Faroese government convened its first cabinet meeting on Monday morning at 8:30 AM in Tórshavn, according to photos published by Faroese national broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya.
The newly formed government gathered at the parliament building, Tinganes, for the session. Photographer Bjarni Árting Rubeksen documented the event, capturing images of ministers including Bárður á Steig Nielsen, Aksel V. Johannesen, Eydis Hartmann Niclassen, Margit Stórá, Pól Wolles, Beinir Johannesen, and Jacob Vestergaard.
The meeting marks the official start of the government’s work following its formation.
