Faroese parliament to elect 45 committee members today

The Faroese parliament, the Løgting, will elect 45 committee members and 45 alternates across seven committees during Monday’s session, public broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya reports.

The selections will also include representatives for the Nordic Council and the West Nordic Council, as well as parliamentary auditors. The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 local time.

The elections follow the recent formation of the Faroese government.
