Police investigate four sexually motivated assaults in eastern Norway
Norwegian police believe the same suspect is behind four recent assaults on elderly women in eastern Norway, describing the attacks as sexually motivated, Dagbladet reports.
The latest incident occurred Wednesday in Oslo’s Ammerud district, following three earlier assaults in Asker and Bærum. The suspect remains at large.
“We are investigating all four cases as sexually motivated,” police prosecutor Ellen Alvilde Arge confirmed to Dagbladet. Authorities declined to specify what evidence links the attacks to a single perpetrator.
According to local reports, two elderly women were assaulted in the Gommerud area of Rykkinn, while a woman in her 70s was attacked in Hyggen, Asker, on Monday evening.
