Marjun Weihe Thomassen appointed managing director of Landsverk in Faroe Islands

Marjun Weihe Thomassen has been appointed as the managing director of Landsverk.

She began her role as financial director in October 2023 and has been acting director since February of this year.

Marjun, who is 49 years old, has a degree in economics and serves on the board of Landsbanki as well as the Economic Council.

Following her education, Marjun worked as a representative at Landsbanki and later as an investment advisor at BankNordik.

From 2012 to 2023, she held the position of financial director at Bústøðum.

Marjun’s appointment follows a competitive selection process that attracted seven applications for the director position at Landsverk.
