The Left Party is demanding cabinet positions in Sweden’s next government if its support is needed to secure a majority, according to a report by public broadcaster SVT.
In an analysis on the political talk show *Politik, politik, politik!*, SVT’s political reporters Erik Nilsson and Daniel Ingmo examined which ministerial portfolios the party could target. Ingmo suggested that some voters might view the prospect of a Left Party-influenced government as alarming.
“Many might feel this would become a ‘horror cabinet,’” Ingmo said during the program.
The Left Party is currently finalising its stance on government participation, a decision that could shape Sweden’s political landscape after the next election.
