Motorcycle rider killed in single-vehicle crash in Asker

A man in his 30s has died following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Asker on Friday evening, police confirmed.

Emergency services responded to reports of the crash shortly after 7:30 PM, according to a report by Dagbladet. The rider was given immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the scene but was later declared dead.

“The life of the motorcycle rider could not be saved,” operations manager Anders Aas stated. Authorities have notified the next of kin.

Preliminary investigations suggest only one motorcycle was involved in the incident. Police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
