The Norwegian celebrity magazine Se og Hør has been ordered to pay a 400,000 NOK (approx. €36,000) penalty for publishing the name of a victim in the ongoing trial against Marius Borg Høiby, Dagbladet reports.

Niklas Kokkinn-Thoresen, editor-in-chief of Se og Hør, confirmed the demand from prosecutors but stated the magazine strongly disagrees with the decision. “We will provide a thorough explanation to the court through our lawyer,” he said.

The fine was announced Wednesday after the magazine identified one of the alleged victims in the case, violating privacy protections in Norwegian law.
