Finland’s national emergency supply security has not weakened due to the war in the Middle East, according to the National Emergency Supply Agency (Nesa). The agency reports that the conflict’s impact has so far resulted only in minor disruptions to business operations, primarily through rising prices for fuel, raw materials, and other supplies.
The availability of fuel and grain in Finland remains strong, though improvements are needed in securing fertiliser supplies in the future. Nesa confirms there is no fuel shortage in the country, as Finland sources its crude oil and gas from the North Sea. No issues with jet fuel availability are expected in the coming months.
