A child has died after collapsing during a school break at Vuoksenniska School in Imatra, southeastern Finland, police confirmed on Thursday. Authorities have ruled out criminal suspicion in the case.

According to a preliminary police investigation, the incident occurred when students collided while playing outside during recess. After some time, one of the children fell to the ground and required emergency medical care. The child later died in hospital.

Police conducted an on-site examination, reviewed video footage, and interviewed witnesses. The investigation found no evidence of criminal activity.
