Three more teenage girls detained over fatal Vårby shooting

Three teenage girls have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the fatal shooting of a boy in Vårby, Stockholm, according to reports from Swedish public broadcaster SVT and newspaper Aftonbladet.

The detentions follow the arrest of another teenage girl already held on suspicion of two separate murders. On 23 March, a teenage boy was shot dead near a football pitch in Vårby gård, south of Stockholm. Two days later, a 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in Rosengård, Malmö.

The same girl remains the primary suspect in both cases.
