Danish school replaces computers with notebooks and books to improve learning
A primary school in Denmark has removed computers from daily classroom use, replacing them with traditional notebooks, pencils, and books—a move both teachers and students say has improved learning outcomes, reports DR.
Tranegård School in Hellerup now limits computer use to only essential tasks. According to the school, the shift away from screens has led to better concentration and academic performance among students.
Teachers and pupils report that the change has made lessons more engaging, with students absorbing material more effectively when working with physical books and handwritten notes.
