Two killed in traffic accident in Valkeakoski

A collision between two vehicles in Valkeakoski, southern Finland, has left two people dead and one injured, according to a report by Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

The accident occurred on Hämeenlinnantie road on Sunday evening. Emergency services were alerted at 18:37 local time. One of the cars involved was towing a horse trailer carrying a horse, which was also injured in the crash.

The injured person was taken to hospital for treatment. Police in Central Finland are investigating the cause of the accident but have not released further details at this stage.
