Faroese government announces new cabinet members from the People’s Party

The Faroese People’s Party has confirmed that Beinir Johannesen, Bárður á Lakjuni, and Jacob Vestergaard will join the government, according to a statement from party leader Beinir Johannesen.

Johannesen will continue as prime minister, while Bárður á Lakjuni will oversee education, culture, development, and church affairs. Jacob Vestergaard will handle labour, transport, and immigration matters, among other responsibilities.
