Faroese Social Democrats select new government ministers

The Faroese Social Democratic Party (Javnaðarflokkurin) has confirmed Aksel V. Johannesen and Margit Stóra as its new government ministers, public broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya reports.

The decision follows a party meeting on Thursday. Johannesen will oversee financial affairs, while Stóra will handle social and housing policy.

The appointments mark a leadership shift within the party.
