Faroese government to present new transport agreement at 11:00 press conference

The Faroese national broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya will livestream a press conference at 11:00 today, where three political parties will unveil a new transport policy framework. The agreement, led by Prime Minister Beinir Johannesen, marks the first major initiative under his government, the youngest prime minister in Faroese history.

The coalition parties—Fólkaflokkurin, Sambandsflokkurin, and Javnaðarflokkurin—announced the event, which will introduce the foundational terms of the transport deal. Coverage will be available on KVF’s radio, television, and website, beginning at 11:00.
