Break-in leads to theft of construction equipment at Hessundinsalmi bridge site in Parainen, Finland

At the construction site of the Hessundinsalmi bridge in Parainen, Finland, a break-in occurred earlier this week, as reported by the police. During the night between Monday and Tuesday, thieves stole a significant amount of construction equipment from locked containers, including several meters of power cables, welding machines, and smaller tools.

According to the police statement, the estimated value of the stolen items amounts to tens of thousands of euros. The case is being investigated as a serious theft. The Southwest Finland police are requesting information from anyone who may have seen suspicious individuals in the construction area or its vicinity during the night of the break-in, as well as information regarding any tools marked with the Kreaten logos or identifiers.
