A Faroese passenger ferry remains anchored off Denmark’s west coast after departing late Saturday night, with rough weather delaying its journey, reports Faroese broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya.

The Norrøna left Hirtshals shortly before 4:30 AM but has since stalled south of Skagen, near Ålbæk, due to winds reaching 18–19 m/s. Though wind speeds are high, wave conditions are not severe. The vessel is awaiting improved weather as Storm Dave moves through the area.

Two other ferries operated by Color Line and Fjord Line are also docked in Hirtshals.
