Ica Bank customers face login and payment issues

Customers of Ica Bank are experiencing widespread disruptions, with login failures in both the mobile app and online banking, Swedish public broadcaster SVT reports. The outage has also affected in-store payments via Swish and mobile payment services like Apple Pay.

Gabriella Olsson, a spokesperson for Ica Bank, confirmed that traditional bank cards and cash remain functional. The issues stem from a central system failure, though no timeline for resolution has been provided.

“We sincerely apologise that this is happening during the busy Easter shopping period,” Olsson said.
