Christianskirkjan church in Klaksvík to undergo 20 million krona roof replacement

The roof of Christianskirkjan church in Klaksvík is being replaced in a project costing 20 million Faroese krona, according to public broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya. Work has already begun, with the entire summer allocated for completion.

Construction company Articon is carrying out the project, designed by architecture firm FuglArk. The existing roof tiles will be removed and reused where possible.

Scaffolding has been erected around the church as preparations continue.
